Healthy Lifestyle Seminar to be Held in OKC

Maintaining our health is a common and constant effort that all humans share. Unfortunately, it is much easier said than done. Staying healthy requires a certain level of understanding regarding the maintenance and general functionality of the human body.  Many individuals lack this knowledge.

This coming Thursday, September 25th, the Oklahoma County OSU Cooperative Extension Service will be hosting a healthy lifestyle seminar featuring the various ways to stay healthy. The seminar aims to provide attendees with valuable information about healthy foods, including which foods to eat and which to avoid.

The seminar will be able to teach attendees the right kinds of food to eat so they will remain in shape as well as what foods to reduce and eventually eliminate in their diet. This way, they will be able to reduce or avoid obesity and other detrimental conditions.

Amanda Horn, a Registered Dietitian and the Family and Consumer Science Educator for Oklahoma County will be presenting the facts during the seminar. It will be a free event sponsored by the Oklahoma Home and Community Education (OHCE) and is open to all.

Those who wish to attend can come to the Oklahoma County OSU Cooperative Extension Service located at 930 N. Portland on Thursday at 9:30 a.m.
